Due Dates Coming Soon to Smart To-Do List

by Scott on January 20, 2009

Just a quick post to let you know that Smart To-Do List will soon be able to track due dates for each task (optionally).  This should be available within the next 2 weeks.  I’m working on integration with an existing online to-do list application as well.  Stay tuned.

I deeply hope that the due date is not a mandatory field. I use STDL to maintain lists of numerous projects that have no particular deadline and I would not want to have to enter a meaningless date just to enter a task. Likewise, I would not want a default date to be entered if I don’t fill in the the date.

All the best!

Andrew,

It’s definitely not mandatory and no default date will be entered. If you don’t use it, it won’t be on the list.

Best Regards,
Scott

Hi,

Just curious: which online to-do list application do you plan to use?

Vincent,

Right now, it looks like I’ll be using Toodledo
