Hopefully just in time, here is a to-do list for Thanksgiving Day preparation. The list is by no means exhaustive and I would appreciate any additions in the comments if you’d like! You can download the list as a template that can be used with Smart To-Do List software. The list comes complete with tags that will allow it to be filtered by the number of days remaining: @TenDays, @OneWeek, and @ThanksgivingWeek. Of course you can easily add or remove items to the list as necessary.

Here are some GTD wallpapers that I’ve found over the past few months. You can click on any of the images below to visit the site of the original author.
First off is the Smart Productivity addition to the list of available GTD wallpapers. Hope you like it! I got the idea from a t-shirt that said sleep.eat.rock.repeat.

The next three are by Stefanos Karagos and were found on his blog Anabubula.com. His blog is about productivity, lifehacking and social media. He has quite an eye for design as you can see. You may have seen the second and third by Stefanos posted at other blogs in the past, but I think they deserve every post they get.

The next one is from Quality Nonsense, an affiliate marketing blog.

Here are a few very nice offerings from a great GTD/Productivity blog, Flipping Heck.

Do you know of any other GTD wallpapers? Please leave a link in the comments.

This quick post was inspired by XKCD, a comic I read regularly. Here is the comic that inspired the post:

After reading this I did a quick experiment similar to what is shown in the comic. I Googled “I should have” as well as “I shouldn’t have”. As of this writing the results were as follows:
- “I shouldn’t have” returned 2,130,000 results
- “I should have” returned 33,800,000 results
What does this mean to you? To me the results speak for themselves, but the following quote captures it better than I could ever hope to:
“Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.” - Sydney Smith
Make today one of those days where you start to work on one of those items that you don’t want to end up on your “I should have” list.
